Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
  • Functions independently while maintaining open communication channels with the covering physicians.
  • Provide coverage of a low to moderate risk underserved population that has a significant need for obstetrical providers and routine gynecological services.
  • Rotating call schedule for L & D coverage.
  • Clinic responsibilities

Job Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Has Certification approved by American College of Nurse Midwives
  • Ability to obtain licensure in the State of New Mexico & DEA licensure
