UNC Health Care needs you as a part-time RN for our 20-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The patients include a wide range of specialties, including but not limited to: trauma, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT surgery, oncology, solid organ transplants, burns, and various medical specialties. Environment Caring includes a focus on family-centered care.
If you interest then you’ll report to and are accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director as well as responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. 36-hour position with 12-hour shifts day/ night rotation, working every 3rd or 4th weekend.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience.
- Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.
- Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/ CPR required.
